Covenant Clinic is pleased to welcome nurse practitioner April Ehrler to its Family Medicine clinic in Arlington.
Ms. Ehrler entered the health care field with a desire to help others. “I have a strong passion for helping people function at their highest capacity both mentally and physically,” said Ms. Ehrler. “I chose to focus my education on Family Medicine because it allows me to prevent illness and promote wellness in patients of all ages.”
She has held several positions in health care, most recently as a minimum data set coordinator at Good Neighbor Society in Manchester. She has primarily worked in rural health settings and is anxious to build relationships in Arlington. “My first goal is to gain the patients’ and community’s trust. Another important goal for me is to prevent illness and promote health in the rural community. I want to provide holistic care and empower individuals to improve and maintain their health,” she said.
Ms. Ehrler achieved a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Clarke University in Dubuque. She achieved a Master of Science in Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Allen College in Waterloo.
Ms. Ehrler was born and raised in Manchester. She currently resides in Greeley with her husband.
