Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare Cardiac Rehabilitation Moving

Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Department will make a move from its current location at Kimball Ridge Center (KRC) to Covenant Medical Center (CMC). Their new location, at 3421 West Ninth Street, will open on Thursday, February 14, 2013.

Although patients will come to a new location for their appointments, they can still count on receiving compassionate care from familiar faces.

“My team and I are excited to make the move from KRC to CMC,” said Candy Steele, Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager. “We look forward to caring for our patients in our new and improved space. Our focus will remain on the health, well-being and improvement of our patients.”

The new area at CMC will offer a larger rehabilitation area, which will include exercise equipment and therapy tools specific to helping cardiac patients recover from a variety of different heart conditions.

With services moving to Covenant Medical Center, patients are also provided a new convenience of having all of the cardiac services they need in one place.

“We truly look forward to having all of our cardiac services under one roof,” said Mac McDonald, Cardiopulmonary Service Line and ICU Director at Covenant Medical Center. “We can help identify your heart problem, treat your broken heart, and help you recover, all on the CMC campus.”

Starting February 14, 2013, Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare Cardiac Rehab patients should park in the C Lot and enter through the Temporary Visitor/Rehabilitation Entrance off of West Ninth Street.
