People with Parkinson's disease and their families are welcome to attend the Walk in the Parkie Support Group. It will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 6:15 p.m., in the 1st floor board room at Covenant's Kimball Ridge Center, 2101 Kimball, Waterloo, IA. This meeting is at an earlier time because we will be observing a Tai Chi class led by Lily Ping. Tai Chi is a form of exercise which improves balance and coordination. The Walk in the Parkie Support Group normally meets the 2nd Thursday of the month in the board room in Covenant's Kimball Ridge Center at 6:30 pm.
