Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-Iowa is pleased to announce Casey Fonley, Registered Nurse as the new Supervisor of Diagnostic Cardiology for Covenant Medical Center, Mercy Hospital, and Sartori Memorial Hospital. Fonley will supervise Cardiology Diagnostic Services at all three locations.
Fonley received her Bachelor of Science degree from Allen College after completing a degree in health promotions, with an emphasis on wellness management, from the University of Northern Iowa. Her experience as both a nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Covenant Medical Center as well as prior experience at the Cardiac Stepdown Unit at Allen Memorial Hospital has prepared her for this supervisory position.
“My goal is to lead with kindness and compassion in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare,” said Fonley. “My plan is to accomplish this while working closely with departmental staff to bring forth positive changes in Cardiopulmonary Services through: staff education, development, competency, evaluation, and scheduling.”
