A New Direction – Cancer Services Orientation Program When you’re diagnosed with cancer and you choose Covenant Cancer Treatment Center, consider visiting A New Direction, our cancer services orientation program to introduce the many services available to you before, during and after your cancer treatment. 1st Tuesday of the every month at 5:15 p.m. or the 3rd Thursday of every month at 9:30 a.m. Covenant Cancer Treatment Center, 200 E. Ridgeway, Waterloo (Please wait in the front lobby for a presenter to meet you) At this orientation you’ll tour our facility and attend an informational meeting with other newly diagnosed patients to learn more about our team and the services we provide including: - Lymphedema and review adaptive equipment, activities of daily living, and range of motion
- Nutritional services
- Wellness and rehabilitation - the benefits of exercise and types to use to enhance flexibility, strength, cardiovascular
- Schedule cancer rehabilitation appointments, as needed.
