Clinical Trials Available at Covenant Cancer Treatment Center

A clinical trial, also known as protocols, is a very carefully designed and executed investigation of the effects of a drug administered to humans. The goal of a clinical trial is to determine how well a drug works, its best use, side effects, toxicities, incompatibilities and interactions of a particular drug or drugs. The United States government requires strict testing of all new drugs before they can be used to treat cancer.

Covenant Cancer Treatment Center recognizes the importance of ongoing research in the fight against cancer. We proudly participate in a wide variety of national and regional clinical trials. Current open protocols include studies in prostate, breast, lung, rectal, colon, multiple myeloma, Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, ovarian, Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors (GIST), renal cell, gastric, and gastroesophageal cancers and chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
