Family Birth Center

Prenatal and Women’s Health Clinic

Care You Can Trust

Our clinic opened in 1990. It is a faith-based, non-profit clinic providing comprehensive services for the unique health care needs of women of all ages: those entering adolescence, embracing motherhood, maintaining wellness or making life transitions. Unlimited support and health care education is provided by Board Certified Nurse Midwives, registered nurses, dieticians, social workers and other clinic staff members.

Our clinic is staffed exclusively by women. We have the privilege of working closely with an all-female practice of OB/GYN physicians; Partners in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  When a woman has a health care need outside our midwives’ scope of practice or expertise, our midwives will consult or refer care accordingly. Women needing inpatient or outpatient hospital based services will receive excellent family-centered care in the safest, most nurturing environment possible at Covenant Medical Center.

Midwifery Care
Our Board Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) is registered nurses with advanced practice training. They have a master’s degree in midwifery and are board certified to offer expert and personalized care for normal pregnancy, childbirth and gynecology. Our midwives are skilled professionals in supporting women to maintain a healthy pregnancy and birth as well as offering individualized health care, education and counseling to women throughout their life cycle.

Financial Resources
We accept private insurance, Medipass, Title XIX, and offer self-pay discounts to patients with no insurance. Our clinic social workers and hospital patient financial advocates are here to assist with your financial concerns.
