The Midwest Institute of Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery understands the life changing effects of undergoing weight loss surgery and the concerns of those contemplating having surgery. Our staff offers a support group exclusively for patients who have had weight loss surgery and their immediate family members. Individuals who are contemplating weight loss surgery may attend support group meetings as observers, with the understanding that the meeting is designed for post operative patients to discuss issues that affect their lifestyle. Guest speakers will be featured to discuss topics pertaining to weight loss surgery. Meetings will be held at Sartori Memorial Hospital from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. the first Monday of every month.
