Our sleep labs are designed to evaluate and identify various sleep disorders. This is done through a sleep study or polysomnogram and multiple sleep latency testing (daytime nap tests) conducted by sleep professionals who have combined experience in respiratory therapy and sleep medicine.
Daytime Nap Studies known by the acronym M.S.L.T. are a series of four to five nap studies done in a sleep lab that are used to quantify and diagnose conditions that can cause severe sleepiness through the day, despite adequate night time sleep. Our staff is credentialed by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT). In addition to Daytime Nap Studies, our lab also offers:
Home Sleep Testing:
A more simple and cost effective method to diagnose Sleep Apnea at home rather than in a lab setting. It is however, only designed to be used in a specific population of patients: those with a high risk of at least moderate sleep apnea and those patients who do not have other underlying sever medical conditions. This study will not diagnose other sleep disorders.
