Andrew Luke, MD Joins Covenant Clinic

Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-Iowa (Wheaton Iowa) is pleased to welcome Andrew Luke, MD, to Covenant Clinic in Waterloo. Dr. Luke practices family medicine and will begin seeing patients in Suite 210 of the Covenant Professional Office Building at the end of August.

Dr. Luke received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Basseterre, St. Kitts, West Indies, in 2014. He recently completed his family medicine residency at the Northeast Iowa Medical Education Foundation in Waterloo, Iowa.

Dr. Luke is excited to be joining the organization and said, “My family and I have enjoyed our time in the Cedar Valley over the last few years. I have trained within the Wheaton Iowa system and have developed relationships with other providers and staff."

He says he is exceptionally drawn to primary care in the field of family medicine. "Primary care physicians are given the unique opportunity to encounter a wide variety of ailments and diagnoses, as well as care for and treat a diverse group of individuals."

Dr. Luke lives in Cedar Falls with his wife, where the couple is expecting their first child this fall. Both serve on the worship team at Prairie Lakes Church as vocalists. Dr. Luke is originally from Toronto and follows Blue Jays baseball very closely. He is an animal lover and enjoys gardening, spending time outdoors, and reading.
