Attiq-Ur Rehman, MD, joins Covenant Clinic hospitalists

Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare–Iowa is pleased to welcome Attiq-Ur Rehman, MD, to Covenant Clinic. Dr. Rehman is a hospitalist who began seeing patients at Covenant Medical Center and Sartori Memorial Hospital in September.

Dr. Rehman is excited to be joining the organization. “I had a lot of positive feedback from people I know who have worked here. It's a combination of a welcoming and heart-warming environment," he said.

Dr. Rehman received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences and Services Institute of Medical Sciences in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan in 2011. He then held positions and studied Internal Medicine and Pediatric Medicine at Services Hospital in Lahore; the University of Oklahoma Stephenson Cancer Center in Oklahoma City; Hurley Medical Center at Michigan State University-College of Human Medicine in Flint, Michigan; Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia; and Gastroenterology and Endoscopy at New York Hospital in Queens.

He recently completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency at Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine at Hurley Medical Center. He has also been a faculty/clinical instructor for the Departments of Internal Medicine and Pediatric Medicine at Michigan State University since 2014.

When he's not in the office, Dr. Rehman enjoys spending time with his wife and two-year-old daughter. He enjoys talking to his parents back home, exercise, and reading.
