Covenant Medical Center Takes Silver at AAF Awards

Covenant Medical Center earned a silver award at the American Advertising Federation (AAF) of Des Moines’ annual awards in February.
The AAF of Des Moines is Iowa’s sponsor in the National American Advertising Awards Program, which is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative creative competition recognizing all forms of advertising in all varieties of media.
Covenant Medical Center won the silver award in the :30 single spot category for “Let Us Be a Part
of Your Story,” a television commercial to promote Covenant’s Family Birth Center. Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-Iowa contracted Performance Marketing of West Des Moines to help develop and produce strategic advertising efforts for the project.
To convey Covenant’s family-centered approach, the ad played off of childhood stories combined with the message that each family has its own unique story. The concept blends photography with whimsical illustrations, inviting expectant parents to make Covenant’s Family Birth Center part of their story.
