The Knox Blocks Foundation was created in memory of Knox Palmer, just three and a half months old when he fell asleep and never woke up on December 20, 2016. His death was ruled as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

One year later, representatives from the Knox Blocks Foundation visited Covenant's Family Birth Center to donate Owlet Smart Socks - monitors worn by infants to track their oxygen level and heart rate. The sock alerts parents if levels fall outside of range.

The Family Birth Center received 20 smart socks to give to new parents.
