Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – Iowa (Wheaton Iowa) is pleased to welcome Brianna Mau, ARNP, to Iowa Spine and Brain Institute in Waterloo. Ms. Mau will assist neurosurgeons Amit Singla, MD, and Marietta Walsh, DO, treating patients with diseases of the central nervous system, peripheral nervous system, and spinal column.

"Neurosurgery allows me to help patients in a clinic setting, a surgical setting, and a hospital setting, which is very exciting!" she said. "The staff and providers at Wheaton Iowa truly make this an amazing place to be."

Ms. Mau attended Allen College in Waterloo, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in August 2015, and her Master of Science in Nursing in May 2018. Prior to joining Iowa Spine and Brain Institute, she worked as a nurse at Covenant Clinic Convenient Care in Waterloo.

"My goal is to provide exceptional care, so patients can leave feeling confident and return knowing they're in the best hands. To do this, I must continue educating myself, learn from my peers, and keep up to date with our evolving world of medicine," she said.

Brianna Mau is originally from Cedar Falls where she resides today. She plans to be married in September. When she's not in the clinic, she enjoys being outdoors, going to movies, and reading historical fiction novels.
