Welcoming Mahesh Mohan, MD to Covenant Clinic Pain Management

Covenant Clinic is pleased to welcome Mahesh Mohan, MD to the pain management department.
 
Dr. Mohan has a diverse set of training and experience that allows him to better understand the whole person. "I had the opportunity to be trained in pain medicine, rehabilitation, and electro-diagnostics in the U.S., and in Orthopedics in India. Chronic pain, especially back and neck pain, is a complex issue and my unique experience of having looked at it from different viewpoints helps me understand the issue better. It is gratifying to improve a patient's life quality."
 
Dr. Mohan received his medical degree from Medical College Kottayam in India. He completed a residency in Orthopedics at NSCB Medical College in India. Dr. Mohan completed PGY1 in General Surgery at Brookdale University in New York and his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Mohan completed his fellowship in Pain Management at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Mohan worked as an Orthopedic Attending Physician at multiple hospitals in India from 2002 to 2008 and was also a Clinical Observer at the University of Miami Orthopedic Oncology between November 2006 and February 2007. He was an Attending Physician at Midwest Rehabilitation in Topeka, KS, between June 2013 and October 2014, and was an Attending Physician at Mosaic Hospital between October 2014 and June 2015. Dr. Mohan has practiced interventional pain medicine at ORA Orthopedics in Iowa and Illinois since August 2016.
 
He lives in Cedar Falls with his wife. Chess is Dr. Mohan's passion and he also enjoys photography.
