Wheaton Iowa welcomes Alicia Johnson, CNM to the Covenant Midwives and Women's Health Center

Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – Iowa (Wheaton Iowa) is pleased to welcome Alicia M. Johnson, CNM to the Covenant Midwives and Women's Health Center. Johnson is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Nurse Practitioner who began with the center at the end of May 2018.

Johnson is excited to be joining an organization with values that closely align to hers. She stated, “I was looking for a workplace that puts service first, and I really feel like I have found that here at Wheaton Iowa. I want to be sure that my patients feel they are in a safe environment to discuss whatever is on their mind in whatever stage of life they are in.”

Johnson received her BSN from St. Olaf College and her MSN in Nurse-Midwifery from Vanderbilt University. She earned certification from the American College of Nurse-Midwives and is part of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

She is originally from the Twin Cities area and enjoys biking and being outside enjoying Midwest summers.

Johnson will be joining the team of Certified Nurse Midwives at the Covenant Midwives & Women's Health Center, located at 432 King Drive, Waterloo, Iowa 50702.
