Timely Diagnosis – Our Promise to You!
Our radiologists and breast surgeons, along with our compassionate staff, believe very strongly that patients should not have a long delay before receiving results. No one wants to put their life on hold waiting for results. The results from your mammogram are sent to your primary care physician. If issues arise with your mammogram, your primary care physician can refer you on for diagnostic testing with our radiologists or refer you to one of our highly-skilled breast surgeons, often on the same day. Patients who need diagnostic testing will have a face-to-face conversation with one of these providers for the results from their tests. In most circumstances, biopsy results are available in 24 hours. Insist on a consultation with Covenant Comprehensive Breast Center!
Experienced Breast Surgeons
Covenant Comprehensive Breast Center's breast surgeons - Drs. Neil McMahon, Scott Hinze and Scott Stoeger, are dedicated to finding the problem and providing you with options. Weekly clinics are offered in the breast center so you can have your imaging and consultation done in the same place. Many times, our surgeons are able to perform diagnostic biopsies and provide a consulatation at our office on the same day. Our surgeons can also perform minimally-invasive surgeries including biopsies to remove tissue or a mass; lumpectomies to remove a cyst or tumor; and mastectomies to remove the breast(s), if such procedures are necessary.
